The VP’s? Not a mem’rable lot
‘Cept for those who the pres’dency got
But we all know of Burr
The contemptible cur
And the Treasury Sec that he shot
Event: Former U.S. Vice President Aaron Burr is arrested for treason (which doesn’t actually have anything to do with the fact that he shot Alexander Hamilton)
Year: 1807

Hey, it finally worked. But only when I typed in my old email address. Go figure. I wanted to say that I hadn’t realized you still doing this and was sorry about all the exquisite poetry I had missed, to say nothing about the insights into history, even the ones when I already knew the facts.
I also asked if A Fan was somebody I have known for some time. It sounds like him.

It worked, but now it says there is No Comment and No Response, yet it shows my comment. Weird! But I typed in my old address to see if that would do it and it is showing my new address. Even weirder!!

Interesting note to the limerick. Anytime shooting the Vice President to death ISN’T the thing that got you into the most trouble, you’ve led a pretty eventful life.

Never mind. I was going to go into the Hamilton idea of the Gentleman’s Code as opposed to the Burr idea. But I thought better of it. Stupid and tragic.
